Did you know that you can send and receive money quickly, safely, and flexibly with ACH Xpress and Towerbank? Here's how this service works, allowing you to send and receive transfers to and from financial institutions in Panama immediately.

With this new payment system, you can make fund transfers to savings or checking accounts, with a maximum amount of $1,000.00 per transfer.

Available banks: BAC International Bank, Banco Aliado, Banco LAFISE, Banco Nacional de Panamá, Banco Pichincha, Banisi, BCT Bank, Canal Bank, Metrobank, Multibank, Scotiabank, St. Georges Bank, Unibank.

How is my experience with an embedded Soft Token from my Towerbank Banking app?

Did you know that with the embedded Soft Token in your Towerbank Banking app, you can perform quick and easy transfers from both your computer and mobile device? In this video, we’ll show you how to make a transfer and enter the security PIN in an instant.

Step 1: Access your TowerOnline online banking from your computer.

Step 2: Start by selecting “Transfer” from the main menu. Then click on “To beneficiaries at other local banks” and choose a product (in this case, “To a beneficiary”).

Step 3: Enter the amount you want to send to your beneficiary. Next, input the token provided by the Towerbank Banking app.

Step 4: Open the Towerbank Banking app on your mobile device. In the bottom menu, select “More,” then choose “Soft Token.” Press the “Show Token” button and enter your security PIN. Take note of the displayed Soft Token.

Step 5: Return to your computer and input the Soft Token received from the Towerbank Banking app. Your transaction is now complete!

If you haven’t yet set up the embedded Soft Token, follow these steps:

For Individuals:

  1. Open your Towerbank Banking app, click “More” (bottom menu), then select “Soft Token” and request one.
  2. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions.
  3. You’ll be asked to enter the temporary PIN we provide. Avoid modifying the “Alias,” and optionally set an additional PIN.
  4. Congratulations! You now have the Soft Token embedded in your Towerbank Banking app.

For Businesses:

  1. First, make sure you have the Entrust app installed on your mobile phone.
  2. Log in to your Towerbank Banking account from your computer. If you have both personal and business user accounts, use your personal account. If you only have a business account, log in with that user.
  3. From the main menu, go to “Manage,” and then select “Soft Token Request.”
  4. Read and accept the terms presented. After accepting the terms, you’ll see two options: “New Request” and “Start.” Click on “New Request.”
  5. You’ll be prompted to enter the temporary PIN provided to you.
  6. You’ll receive an email (please check both your inbox and spam folder). Open the email on your mobile device. Click the link in the email that says “Click here to activate the Soft Token.” This will take you to the Entrust app. Set an additional mandatory PIN within the Entrust app.
  7. Congratulations! Your Soft Token is now embedded in your Towerbank Banking app.

How do I recover my Online Banking password?

Can I open an account at Towerbank from outside Panama?

Yes, you can open an account with us from abroad. Please contact us to schedule a virtual appointment.

How can I reactivate my account?

To reactivate your account, you will need to contact your Account Executive and make a deposit or withdrawal at the time of reactivation. To prevent your account from being inactive, you should make at least one transaction every 6 months.

What time should I send a local transfer for the beneficiary to receive it on the same day?

It should be sent before 1:30 p.m. on a business day. If the transfer is made on a weekend or holiday, it will be processed on the next business day.

What should I do if I lose my Credit or Debit Card?

In case of losing your card, please contact us 800-6900 if you are in Panama, and if you are abroad, call (+507) 269-6900.

What is the cost of maintaining a Debit Visa and what is the cost of Online Banking?

The Debit Visa has an annual fee of $26.75. The Online Banking and the Token have an annual fee of $10.70, and the Online Banking consultation is free.

Is there a limit on the amount of money I can transfer in one day?

No, the limit is the availability of funds in your account.

Can I authorize other users to access the online account with different levels of access?

Yes, the Online Banking Administrator can make the request to your Account Officer.

Can I make multiple payments in different currencies through Online Banking?

Yes, you can.

What should I do if I detect an unauthorized transaction on my account?

Send a message through the contact icon to your Account Officer or call us immediately. 

I don't have a wallet, but I work with Binance. What information do I need to provide?

If you have cryptocurrencies on any Exchange, we require you to provide us with your Deposit Address.

What are the costs associated with the Crypto Friendly Account?

You will need to maintain a minimum balance of $50. The annual cost of the security Token for transactions in your Online Banking is $10.70. The annual cost of the Debit Visa is $26.75. Using the Debit Visa card to purchase cryptocurrencies is also free.

Can a foreigner open a Crypto Friendly Account?

Yes, you can open your Crypto Friendly account. Please contact us to get started – it's easy and fast!

Why do you need my wallet address?

We require the wallet address to confirm your crypto financial profile. It also allows us to more easily identify any cryptocurrency transactions you make with the bank.

Can I convert my Fiat to Crypto?

Yes, you can convert Fiat to Crypto and vice versa. The price is determined by the market value of the StableCoin at that time, plus a 2% commission. If you wish to use the conversion service, please contact us via email and WhatsApp or directly with your Account Executive.

What type of custody do we maintain?

Securities custody is through EUROCLEAR and Latin Clear.

What is the minimum initial investment to establish an investment portfolio?

The minimum amount to establish an investment portfolio is $2,500.

Can I transfer my current investments to my new portfolio with Tower Securities?

Yes, you can make the transfer to your portfolio with Tower Securities.

What is the minimum account balance?

The minimum balance for a natural person is $500, and for a legal entity, it is $1,000.

Is it necessary to have previous experience to manage my investment portfolio?

No matter your level of previous experience, our team is available to answer questions and suggest assets according to your profile and the transactions you carry out.

Can I use TowerPay if I don't have an online store?

While it is highly recommended to have an online store, with TowerPay, you can engage in eCommerce without one, using payment links and QR codes that you can send to your customers through messages, email, and social media.

Can I sell anywhere in the world?

Yes, with TowerPay, your online store or eCommerce solutions can sell anywhere in the world.

What is the process to request the service?

You can get in touch with Towerbank's eCommerce Department through any of our customer service channels, or if you prefer, directly at 269-6900 ext 1209.

What is the cost of TowerPay?

EThere is an implementation cost depending on the TowerPay solution you choose, and each transaction we process has a percentage commission cost and a fixed cost. You will receive all these details when you request a business proposal. Additionally, both national and foreign companies can affiliate with TowerPay.

How soon will I receive the money from my sales?

TowerPay includes a bank account; you will receive the money from your sales directly into your Towerbank account at noon on the following day.
