The limit will depend on the financial profile and the crypto profile assigned to you, depending on the income you declare in your application and the amount of your investments in crypto.

What are the fees for buying or selling cryptocurrency?

A spread of 2% is charged on both transactions.

Are there other costs associated with a Crypto-Friendly account?

There are no account maintenance costs and sending your Visa Debit card is free.

The use of the Security Token for transactions in your Online Banking has an annual cost of USD10.70. The annual cost of a Visa Debit is $26.75. Transactions at any ATM in Panama are free. Using the Visa Debit card to buy cryptocurrency is free.

Did you know that you can send and receive money quickly, safely, and flexibly with ACH Xpress and Towerbank? Here's how this service works, allowing you to send and receive transfers to and from financial institutions in Panama immediately.

With this new payment system, you can make fund transfers to savings or checking accounts, with a maximum amount of $1,000.00 per transfer.

What should I do if I lose my Credit or Debit Card?

In case of losing your card, please contact us 800-6900 if you are in Panama, and if you are abroad, call (+507) 269-6900.

How can I reactivate my account?

To reactivate your account, you will need to contact your Account Executive and make a deposit or withdrawal at the time of reactivation. To prevent your account from being inactive, you should make at least one transaction every 6 months.

Can I open an account at Towerbank from outside Panama?

Yes, you can open an account with us from abroad. Please contact us to schedule a virtual appointment.

What is the cost of maintaining a Debit Visa and what is the cost of Online Banking?

The Debit Visa has an annual fee of $26.75. The Online Banking and the Token have an annual fee of $10.70, and the Online Banking consultation is free.

Is there a limit on the amount of money I can transfer in one day?

No, the limit is the availability of funds in your account.

Can I authorize other users to access the online account with different levels of access?

Yes, the Online Banking Administrator can make the request to your Account Officer.

Can I make multiple payments in different currencies through Online Banking?

Yes, you can.

What should I do if I detect an unauthorized transaction on my account?

What services can I request from the Investment Products functionality?

From the functionality of Investment Product, users can access a variety of services:

  • Consult general information about your investments.
  • View details about rental securities.
  • Review stock movements.
  • Access detailed information on economic rights.
  • Download a full statement of the investment.

This product is available exclusively through TowerOnline (from the website) and can be used by both individuals and companies.

Step by Step to Manage Your Online Banking Investments

1. Select “My Products”

  • From the main menu, select the “My Products” option.
  • Search for and select the investment product you want to manage.

2. Access the Menu

  • For each product, there is a menu that allows you to perform quick actions. The following are the options available for investments:

2.1 View Detail

  • Select “View Detail” from the menu.
  • A screen will be displayed with all the functionalities of the selected product, including the type of product (Investments) and the product number.
  • To return to the “My Products” screen, click on the arrow in the upper left corner.

2.2 Edit Alias

  • Select “Edit Alias” from the menu.
  • Modify the alias associated with the selected product according to your preferences.

2.3 Add/Remove from Favorites

  • Select “Add to favorites” or “Remove from favorites” in the menu depending on whether or not you want to highlight the product as a favorite.

2.4 Assign to a Group

  • Select “Assign to a group” from the menu.
  • Manage your products through any view, managing product groups in your personalized view.

3. Select “View Details”

  • You can export the data of the details, fixed income securities, equities and movements of securities and economic rights of the investment product in PDF format, and on the tabs to see more details about the product.

4. See details of the Investment: Fixed-income securities

  • Accessing this tab will show the fixed income securities of the investment, if applicable.

5. See investment details: Equity securities

  • Accessing this tab will show the equity securities of the selected investment, if applicable.

6. View Investment Detail: Stock Movements

  • Accessing this tab will show the value movements of the selected investment. By default, the movements of the last quarter are shown.

In this functionality, you can make different filters to obtain the movements, located at the top of the work desk, the filters are as follows:

  • Month, you can filter the movements for a specific month (last 12 months including the current month).
  • Last quarter, you can select the option to view the movements of the last quarter.

7. View Investment Detail: Economic Rights

  • When accessing this tab, the economic rights payments of the selected investment will be displayed.

In this functionality, you can make different filters to obtain the movements, located at the top of the work desk, the filters are as follows:

  • Month, you can filter the movements for a specific month (last 12 months including the current month).
  • Last quarter, you can select the option to view the movements of the last quarter.

What is the minimum account balance?

The minimum balance for a natural person is $500, and for a legal entity, it is $1,000.

What is the minimum initial investment to establish an investment portfolio?

The minimum amount to establish an investment portfolio is $2,500.

Is it necessary to have previous experience to manage my investment portfolio?

No matter your level of previous experience, our team is available to answer questions and suggest assets according to your profile and the transactions you carry out.

What type of custody do we maintain?

Securities custody is through EUROCLEAR and Latin Clear.

Can I transfer my current investments to my new portfolio with Tower Securities?

Yes, you can make the transfer to your portfolio with Tower Securities.

Can I use TowerPay if I don't have an online store?

While it is highly recommended to have an online store, with TowerPay, you can engage in eCommerce without one, using payment links and QR codes that you can send to your customers through messages, email, and social media.

What is the cost of TowerPay?

EThere is an implementation cost depending on the TowerPay solution you choose, and each transaction we process has a percentage commission cost and a fixed cost. You will receive all these details when you request a business proposal. Additionally, both national and foreign companies can affiliate with TowerPay.

How soon will I receive the money from my sales?

TowerPay includes a bank account; you will receive the money from your sales directly into your Towerbank account at noon on the following day.

Can I sell anywhere in the world?

Yes, with TowerPay, your online store or eCommerce solutions can sell anywhere in the world.

What is the process to request the service?

Where can I access Online Banking?

You can access Online Banking quickly and securely from anywhere in the world. Just log in to our website, click on TowerOnline and log in with your username and password. You can also use your cell phone by downloading our official application, Towerbank Banking, available on iOS and Android.

How do I sign up for online banking?

Follow these simple steps to access your Online Banking:

  1. Start your registration: Click on this linking and complete the requested information. If you own a Crypto Account, select the option Current Account to register.
  2. Configure your security: When you first sign in, customize the security of your account.
  3. Activate your account and request the Soft-token: To start trading, request your Soft-token in the section Manage of your Online Banking. From the app, you can find this option in the menu plus -> Request Token.

With these steps, you'll be ready to securely manage your finances from anywhere.

How do I request my Soft-token?

The soft-token is the security device that will allow you to carry out transactional operations from your Online Banking.

Request your Soft-token from the “Manage” option in your online banking. From the APP you can find this option by clicking on 'More” -> Request Token'.

I've forgotten my password, what should I do?

If you forgot your password or are having trouble logging in, follow these steps to securely recover it:

  1. Select 'Have you forgotten your password? ' on the Online Banking login screen.
  2. Confirm your identity: We'll guide you through a short verification process to protect your account.
  3. Reset your password: Once your identity is verified, you can create a new password by following the instructions provided.

Once the process is complete, you will be able to access your Online Banking again without problems.

What should I do if my user has been blocked?

If your user was blocked you can unblock it, following the following steps:

  1. Select 'Has your user been blocked? ' on the Online Banking login screen.
  2. Confirm your identity: We'll guide you through a short verification process to protect your account.
  3. Reset your password: Once your identity is verified, you can create a new password by following the instructions provided.

Once the process is complete, you will be able to access your Online Banking again without problems

I can't remember my secret answer and I can't unblock my user, what should I do?

Can I use the app anywhere in the world?

Yes, our application is designed to work globally, except in those countries blocked by the UN, FATF and OFAC (such as Russia, North Korea, among others). You can download it from official stores by searching Towerbank Banking , available for iOS and Android devices.

From your online banking you can carry out the following operations:

When do I need to send a transfer for it to arrive the same day?
  • Online transfers: For amounts of up to $5,000 USD, you can send transfers in minutes, any day of the week, to affiliated banks in Panama: BAC International Bank, Banco Aliado, Banco LAFISE, Banco Nacional de Panama, Banco Pichincha, Banisi, Banistmo, Banco BCT, Banco Canal, Metrobank, Multibank, Scotiabank, St. Georges Bank, Unibank, Savings Bank, Bi Bank and Davivienda.
  • For other banks and international transfers: Send your transfer before 2:00pm on a business day so that it arrives the same day. Transfers made on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.
